Portland barn door 1

THE CHORISMA

Greek for ‘partition’, the Chorisma is constructed by weaving recycled quarter-inch doug fir slats around three steel rounds that run the length of the door. The slats are painted a metallic bronze, rubbed with wax and painted over with an off-white paint creating a dappled and streaked look. This unique surface, combined with the light passing between the boards, creates a sense of translucency and airiness. The back of this door is the same as the front. Framed with steel tubing on the top and bottom, this portal comes with pre-drilled holes for attaching the track.

This diaphanous portal lightens and brightens any room, evoking a sense of ease and harmony.

Suitable for top mounting hardware.
